Challenge
The Davis Cup, the largest annual international team tennis competition in the world, needed an integrated advertising campaign to promote ticket sales, viewer tune-in and local market excitement. The USA vs. Russia, Davis Cup Finals in Portland, Oregon, would be the chance of a lifetime for fans to see a US roster of top ten, world ranked players compete.

Solution
Developed a communications platform and creative support materials leveraging American pride and historical USA vs. Russia rivalry. Hero player imagery and rallying copy created buzz and desire to "be there" or "tune-in" to the action.

Result
The event sold out within one hour of tickets going on sale. Television ratings drew an average .14 share for the three day event.
